KIDS MINISTRY

HVBC Kid’s Ministry offers a place where children birth through 5th grade can discover and develop a passion for God through worship, teaching, and fun!

We strive for children:
to KNOW God’s Word and promises through solid Biblical teaching
to GROW in their faith through discipleship and by asking questions
to SOW seeds in their communities through service, outreach, and Christ-centered living

We believe Kid’s Ministry is a partnership and should include the whole family. We devote attention to how we can get the whole family involved and connected. Our memory verse challenges, Big Ideas, take home activities, and special events bring families together while sharing the Word of God.

OPPORTUNITIES

  • Nursery: 0-23 months
  • Walkers: 2-3 years
  • Preschool & Kindergarten
  • Elementary: 1st-3rd grade
  • Hope 456: 4th-6th graders
  • Check-In Stations: These volunteers man the check-in stations, assists guests and regular attendees check-in their children and provide personal attention to guests.

VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS

  • Attend Membership Class and sign membership covenant
  • Consent to background check if 18 or older and complete authorization
  • Must be 18 to serve in Nursery
  • Youth volunteer: must be 13 (completed 7th grade) and have completed Grow and signed the covenant; must be 3 years older than ages they serve
  • Be able to commit to serving on a rotation
