We believe that every person was created with a purpose and has a role to play in God’s story. At Hope Valley Bible Church, our Serve Teams are one of the ways we live out that purpose together—using the gifts, talents, and passions God has given us to serve His church and the people around us.

We believe God has placed you here for a reason, and there is a place for you to serve at HVBC.

Opportunities to Serve

We currently have several opportunities for you to step in and serve at Hope Valley. Whether you enjoy serving behind the scenes, working with people, investing in students, or helping make our events and services happen, there’s a place for you to use your gifts and make a difference.

- Kids Ministry — Walkers & PreK Teachers
Our Kids Ministry is currently looking for teachers to serve in our Walkers and PreK classrooms. We need at least one teacher in each classroom, with two teachers in each classroom being preferred. This is a wonderful opportunity to invest in our youngest kids and help them begin learning about Jesus in a safe, loving, and engaging environment.

- Welcome Desk Team
Help create a welcoming first impression for everyone who walks through our doors. Welcome Desk volunteers help answer questions, provide information, assist guests with next steps, and connect people with the resources and ministries available at HVBC.

- Hospitality Team
Help make special events at HVBC happen by assisting with setting up, preparing, and serving food. This team helps create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for everyone who attends our church events.

- Follow-Up Team
Help us stay connected with guests and others who have taken a next step at HVBC by reaching out, encouraging them, and helping them get connected.

- Youth Ministry Champions
Invest in the next generation by building relationships with our students, encouraging them in their faith, and helping create a place where they can know and follow Jesus.

- Support Team
Help make our events possible by serving behind the scenes with setup and teardown. This may include setting up tables, chairs, tents, and other equipment needed for church events.

- Small Groups Coordinator
Help connect people to community by supporting our Small Groups and helping leaders and participants feel equipped and connected.

- Baptism Team
Help prepare for and assist with baptisms at HVBC, creating a smooth and meaningful experience for those taking this important step in their faith.

- Communion Team
Help prepare and serve communion during our worship services, helping create a meaningful and reverent experience as our church remembers and celebrates what Christ has done for us.
